Ross was admitted to the Bar in 1988 and took silk in 2008. He has a general commercial practice that involves mainly company law, shareholder disputes, business rescue, banking, insolvency, insurance, administrative law, tax and trusts.

Ross has acted as a High Court judge several times. He has also been appointed as an arbitrator in commercial disputes on numerous occasions. Ross has been involved in the Bar’s advocacy training program since its inception in 1996.
