Claire de Witt obtained an LLB with Honours from the University of South Africa in 2008. She practiced as an attorney specializing in engineering and construction litigation before being called to the Bar in 2013.

Claire’s area of practice is general commercial law, specializing in the law relating to construction, insurance law, restraints of trade and unlawful competition. Her practice also includes media and defamation law and company and insolvency law.
