Before his call to the bar, Jan was an admitted attorney of the High Court having worked at one of the top tier commercial law firms in South Africa. Jan has also served as a judge’s clerk to the Honorable Judge Kathree-Setiloane at the Johannesburg High Court. In 2023, Jan was named in the Mail & Guardian’s list of 200 Young South Africans.
