Bio
I joined the Cape Society of Advocates in 2014 and subsequently joined the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in 2021. I currently practice in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
My areas of practice are predominantly focused on: financial services and markets regulation; contractual disputes; property law; administrative law; insurance law and pension funds; banking and credit law; employment law; company law matters including liquidations; planning and construction law; and constitutional law.
I have chaired various disciplinary hearings, sat as an arbitrator and have conducted forensic investigations on behalf of commercial institutions and government departments.
I am currently a member of the Financial Services Tribunal as well as the Financial Intelligence Centre Appeals Board.
In addition to the High Court and Labour Court, I have appeared in the Supreme Court of Appeal, the Constitutional Court and various regulatory tribunals. In addition to motion proceedings, I am frequently briefed in arbitrations and trials.’
