Before his call to the Bar, Quentin worked at the University of Cape Town where he tutored contract, delict, and philosophy. He holds a BSocSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (
cum laude), an LLB, and an LLM (
cum laude) from UCT and has completed short courses in governance, law, and philosophy from Oxford, Harvard, and MIT respectively.
Quentin has published widely, including in the
South African Law Journal, the
South African Mercantile Law Journal, the
Tydskrif vir die Suid-Afrikaanse Reg, the
Tydskrif vir Hedendaagse Romeins-Hollandse Reg,
Advocate,
De Rebus, and the
Journal of Applied Philosophy. He has also presented at the
Constitutional Court Review conference.
Quentin’s preferred areas of practice include administrative law, competition law, constitutional law, and general commercial law.
