Bio
Sarel joined the Johannesburg Bar in 1988 and took silk during 2010. He holds a BA and LLB degrees from the University of Stellenbosch.
His areas of expertise include public procurement law, aviation law (international and domestic), aviation finance and insurance law, contracts and construction and engineering law.
Sarel has held appointments as an acting judge and as an arbitrator. He is an AFSA qualified and accredited mediator and arbitrator, holding an Advanced Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Pretoria.
