Prior to being admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa in May 2023 and joining the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in December 2023, Sohini was admitted to practise as both an attorney and conveyancer.

Sohini practised as a director of dispute resolution at MVMT Attorneys for approximately 6 years during the period 2016 to 2022, where she dealt with a number of complex legal matters for individuals, private companies, multi-national corporations, state-owned entities, non-profit organisations and public institutions.

For a period of approximately 10 years, prior to practising as an attorney and conveyancer, Sohini worked as an in-house legal counsel in senior management and advisory roles at 3 major financial institutions namely Nedbank, Standard Bank and Wesbank.

Sohini has a particular interest in matters relating to banking, finance and insolvency however intends to practise in all spheres of corporate/commercial litigation and arbitration.
