The Rivonia Group is pleased to announce that Doron Block has been appointed to the legal aid roster of counsel of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

The Court’s legal aid scheme facilitates access to legal representation for individuals and groups who bring cases before the African Court and who require legal assistance. Counsel appointed from the roster may be appointed to represent applicants in proceedings before the Court.

Doron’s appointment places him among counsel available to provide representation in cases concerning human rights protected under the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights and other applicable human rights instruments.
