Sarajulie Swartz and Sarah Saunders fly the Rivonia flag high in the field of workplace discrimination law.

On 23 October 2025, Rivonia Group members Sarajulie Swartz and Sarah Saunders attended the Fairbridges Women in Worklaw Bridgetalk event as keynote speakers.
Both Sarajulie and Sarah are leaders in employment law, particularly in the fields of restraint-of-trade, unfair dismissal and workplace discrimination. Both have also acted as judges of the Labour Court on several occasions, and were able to provide their unique insights from both the Bar and the Bench on the following topic: “Women, Work & the Law: Shifting Realities and Rising Voices – Insights from the Bench”.

Sarah and Sarajulie both gave compelling accounts of how workplace law has evolved in the field of sexual harassment over the years, before leading the panel discussion on the topic of GBV, power, and leadership in the workplace.
